HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD is the official visitor center and immersive brand experience for The Hershey Company. Since opening our doors in 1973, we've grown from a single flagship location in Hershey, PA to locations in Times Square and Las Vegas, as well as Niagara Falls and Singapore.
All locations are free to visit year-round. We're home to the world's largest Hershey's Store, where you can shop for exclusive products and merchandise.
HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD's flagship location in Hershey, PA is not part of the HERSHEYPARK entertainment complex, which is separately owned and operated by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. HERSHEYPARK day pass visitors may leave and re-enter the park to visit HERSHEY'S CHOCOALTE WORLD after receiving a wrist stamp at the gates.

Milton Hershey wanted the chocolate-making process to be accessible to eveeryone. He was dedicated to educating visitors through tours at the original Hershey's Chocolate Factory. Our mission is to continue that dream at HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD by bringing HERSHEY'S products to life and showcasing Milton Hershey's dedication to the factory, town and beyond.
The original Hershey Chocolate Factory tour opened in 1910. After decades and millions of visitors, it was reborn in 1973 at HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD. This fan favorite ride is free and only available in Hershey, PA.

Yes, admission into HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD and our famous HERSHEY’S Chocolate Tour ride are free year-round and do not require tickets. All other attractions within the facility require a paid ticket.

Many guests may not realize that we're separate companies. Chocolate World is owned by The Hershey Company, and Hersheypark is owned by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. BUT - both companies are committed to providing an amazing experience for visitors to Hershey! Check out our tips to help you navigate your visit to both!

Strollers are permitted inside HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD. However, to experience any of the shows or rides, your stroller must be parked outside in our covered stroller parking area. Guests wishing to rent a stroller can do so inside the main entrance to HERSHEYPARK (during its hours of operation). Neither HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD Attraction nor its employees assume responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, personal property.

Typically, Saturdays are the busiest days at HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD. If you have flexibility in your travel plans, please consider visiting on a weekday.
