It is our goal for every guest to have the sweetest experience possible when visiting HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD. Please review the accessibility accommodations below and contact Guest Services at 717-534-4900 for additional information or requests.

Amenities

For the convenience of those visitors who own electric vehicles, there are four charging stations located in the HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD Attraction parking lot beneath the solar canopy denoted by the green lines. Currently, charging cost is free.

A first aid room is available for guests who are in need of treatment. If immediate first aid is needed, ask any employee for assistance. When HERSHEYPARK is operating, HERSHEYPARK EMTs are available if further treatment is necessary.

Lost and Found, located at the Central Ticketing desk, is operated by Guest Services employees and can be reached by phone at 717-537-4900.

We've partnered with Mamava to offer a private and secure space for breastfeeding mothers to nurse or pump. The lactation pod is located in the rear of our Food Hall, between the ice cream counter and restrooms. Simply request access from our management or security team, or unlock using the Mamava app.

Restrooms are located in two areas in HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD Attraction: the Main Lobby and the Food Court. If you are unable to locate a restroom, please ask any HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD employee for assistance.

Free WiFi is available throughout HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD. Connect your device to the "HCWguest" network and accept the terms of service to access the network.

Wheelchair Accessibility & Special Needs

HERSHEY'S Chocolate Tour, Create Your Own Candy Bar, and HERSHEY’S Unwrapped are all wheelchair accessible. Boarding the HERSHEY'S Chocolate Tour ride requires crossing a moving turntable. Guests in motorized wheelchairs or specialized strollers will need to transfer to a manual wheelchair for the duration of the ride. Guests wishing to experience Hershey Trolley Works tours must be able to ascend three steps with the assistance of a Hershey Trolley Works attendant. Special ‘in-car’ tours are available for those guests who are unable to ascend three steps.

HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD is wheelchair accessible from the main entrance. Entrances are at sidewalk level, with ramps to and from the sidewalk where necessary.

A limited number of wheelchair-accessible parking spaces are available in the first row of parking on a first-come, first-serve basis.

All restrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Service animals are permitted in all publicly accessible areas.

HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD is a designated Certified Autism Center™. Visitors with autism and other sensory needs are ensured the most welcoming experience possible.

Allergen Information

Sweets & Eats

Our menu offers a variety of options for guests with food allergies or dietary sensitivities. Please note that we take great pride in producing most of our menu items in house, from scratch. Because we have a centralized kitchen and bakery, the items we make may have risk of containing peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs and soy, as they are all used in our facility. While the staff will make every possible accommodation to separate potential allergens, we cannot guarantee that it will be allergen free. Please notify a team member of any allergen concerns so they can work with you to meet your specific needs.

Attractions

Depending on the severity of the allergy, most guests are able to experience all of our attractions; please see specific allergen information for HERSHEY’S Unwrapped, Create Your Own Candy Bar, HERSHEY'S Great Candy Expedition and REESE'S Stuff Your Cup. However, people allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, and/or wheat should NOT consume the products or samples given out at the attractions. Most attractions have alternative products available for guests with these allergies. Please talk with our Central Ticketing staff or call 717- 534-4900 when purchasing tickets to determine the available options.
